Noble Energy is Moving House

13/06/2010 Calcalist - Real Estate
The energy giant leased approximately 4,000 sq.m. in IBC’s Ackerstein Towers and will pay a monthly fee of some NIS 95 per sqm.

Noble Energy Middle East, subsidiary of the Noble Energy Corporation, a partner in the Israeli natural gas fields Yam Tatis, Tamar and Dalit, leased three floors in the Ackerstein Towers office project from IBC Industrial Buildings Corporation Ltd., chaired by Eliezer Fishman, to serve as its headquarters in Israel.

The company’s offices are currently located in an old building on Shenkar St. in Herzliya Pituach. The three leased floors, with a total area of some 4,000 sq.m. at the envelope stage, are in Tower D, the fourth and last tower in the Ackerstein Towers complex, which also houses commercial areas and a pedestrian walkway.

Within the framework of the lease agreement, the company will pay IBC monthly rental and management fees of approximately NIS 95 per sq.m.. Noble Energy will also lease permanent parking spaces in the complex’s underground parking facility. The lease is for seven years, with an option to extend for five additional two-year periods. Populating is expected towards the end of 2010.

The floors leased to Noble Energy were the last available in the Ackerstein Towers office project. IBC has now completed populating the entire complex, despite the low occupancy rates that characterize most properties in the Herzliya area. The Ackerstein Towers complex includes four towers, with an overall area of 125,000 sq.m., an underground parking facility housing 2,000 parking spaces and a commercial area.
