MahaNakhon is a luxury mixed-use development project positioned as Bangkok’s first world-class architectural landmark. The development of MahaNakhon is a Joint Venture between Industrial Buildings Corporation Ltd. (IBC) and PACE Development Co., Ltd., representing one of the most ambitious undertakings in the history of Thailand and across Southeast Asia. The Project's elements will include hotel branded super-luxury residences by the Ritz-Carlton Residences Bangkok, The Edition Bangkok a unique luxury hotel collaboration between Marriott Group and Ian Schrager, and a sophisticated lifestyle retail center. Strategically located, MahaNakhon is directly adjacent to the Chongnonsi BTS station, between Silom and Sathorn Roads. The construction of MahaNakhon is scheduled to start in the third quarter of 2009 and expected to be completed in early 2013.
